With LP's SmartSide cedar lap siding you get all the beauty of cedar but with more durability and less cost. SmartSide Cedar Lap siding is one of the most durable lap siding options on the market. This siding is made in 16 foot lengths, not your standard 12 foot lengths which means it installs faster and has less seams than other lap siding. There are no knots and common defects that you may get with traditional cedar siding which means less waste and the material does not need to be sorted before installing. Manufactured with LP's proprietary SmartGuard process to help prevent fungal decay and termite damage. Best of all this material cuts and works like traditional wood and there are no special tools required to cut and install.

How does the pricing work? The price shown is per square foot of coverage.

How much coverage do you get per board? LP recommends an installed overlap of 1" which will yield an exposed coverage of 9.09 square feet per board. Each board is 16 feet long and 8 inches wide.

Minimum Order Quantity? There is a minimum order quantity of 400 square feet or 44 boards for all prefinished colors.

How is this product installed? We recommend that this product be installed by a professional and needs to be installed per the manufacturer's recommendations. LP SmartSide Installation Guide

How is this product prefinished? This product is machined prefinished to provide a consistent look from end to end and board to board. Each board is coated with 2 coats of acrylic paint which resists blistering as well as cracking and peeling during seasonal temperature changes. If you don't find a color that you like, we can custom prefinish this product for you. Please call us for more details.
