Maze S-229-A Wood Siding Nails, 3 Inch 10d Ring Shank, Clear Cedar, 5# Box

These Split-Less® ring shank wood siding nails are designed for hand driving with a hammer and are manufactured by Maze specifically for siding that is prone to splitting (Cedar and Redwood). These nails are double hot dipped galvanized in molten Zinc and then painted a specific color to match prefinished siding materials. These nails should be used with siding that is going to be finish painted a solid color (Use 304 Stainless Steel Nails for untreated or siding that will be finished with a semi-transparent stain). The blunt point also reduces splitting and the checkered head holds paint very well. 3/4" x 8" or 10" siding takes 6 to 7-1/2 lbs of S-229-A nails per 1,000 board feet of material.
